InputВчера я ходил с друзьями в кино.
Result

Structure: time adverbial + subject + predicate + complement of accompaniment + adverbial of direction (word order is flexible; case endings carry the meaning)

  1. Вчера: adverb of time, "yesterday".
  2. я: subject, nominative case.
  3. ходил: predicate, the past tense of the motion verb ходить (imperfective, multidirectional), masculine singular.
    • ходил в кино describes a round trip: went there and came back. The ending -л is masculine; a woman says ходила.
  4. с друзьями: complement of accompaniment, who with
    • с ("with") takes the instrumental case: друзья → друзьями.
  5. в кино: adverbial of direction
    • в + accusative answers "where to?". Кино is indeclinable, so its form doesn't change.

Meaning: "Yesterday I went to the cinema with my friends."

How it works

  1. Paste one Russian sentence (up to 600 characters) and press Analyze sentence.
  2. An AI model, given a fixed analysis format, splits the sentence into its parts and explains each word form.
  3. The analysis appears as it is written. Copy it, or analyze the next sentence.

The analysis is AI-generated. It is reliable for standard written Russian, but can be wrong on slang, typos or unusual word order. Check anything important with a teacher or Gramota.ru or the Russian National Corpus.
